Buffalo Storm

Three massive buffalo have been sent running across dusty ground covered in dry grass. Behind them a violent storm pursues them spitting lightning and roaring with thunder as if the skies have turned against them. These massive animals of the American West run towards you, the viewer. Better get out of the way before these bison stampede right over you.

As always, the American bison is one of my favorite subjects for wildlife art.

I created this image using digital technology starting with CGI (3D Rendering) and finishing with digital painting.

Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations.
