A majestic bison stands on a grassy plain during a dramatic sunset. The bison is positioned in the foreground, dominating the scene with its powerful and imposing presence. Its dark, shaggy fur contrasts sharply with the warm, golden hues of the sunset behind it. The sky is filled with a mix of clouds, adding texture and depth to the scene, and the setting sun casts a soft, reddish glow over the landscape. The combination of the bison's stature and the vibrant, atmospheric background creates a striking and evocative image.
From the artist: a bison at sunset is actually a subject I've tackled before, but for this one, I wanted a much warmer scene with much darker contrasts. Son I actually included the sun in the scene with it almost about to touch the horizon to really emphasize the sunset.
