How you feel if you do not eat lunch. Effectively dramatic L

Artist's Description

You've become lost in the forest as the sun has set. All has gone quiet, and no bird or bug makes a sound. A strange feeling creeps over you. Suddenly, you find yourself face to face with a terrible apparition. A skeleton figure hangs in the air before you. It has dark gray skin and long black hair, but, worst of all, are it's piercing glowing red eyes. Meet the Baykok.

The Baykok, also known as the pau'guk, paguk, baguck, bakaak, or pakàk, is a Native American legend, a malevolent spirit of the Anishinaabe and Algonquin peoples. It is said to fly through the forests around the great lakes killing people with invisible arrows or clubbing them to death. Most gruesome of all though is that it will eat the liver of its incapacitated victims while they are still alive, or even slice out parts of their stomach while they sleep. It's a truely terrifying bit of American Indian folklore.

Thanks for looking,
Daniel
