At the edge of a grassy forest clearing, a twisted, dead oak rests upon a small hill. Erosion has stripped away the side of the small rise, yet the tree still stubbornly tries to hold the earth together with its roots. A dirt path runs alongside the old oak, and, in the golden light of a cloudy autumn afternoon, a buck has wandered by.

This is the first in a series of three artworks featuring the deer on a path next to the tree. All three of the images involve a very strong sense of autumn with lots of yellow, orange, and red colors, that is, the golden colors of fall foliage.

About how I create my artwork:

Rather than traditional forms of art such as painting or photography, I use a computer to create my images. It's called 3D Rendering and works like so: I make a scene by sculpting and arranging digital models in a virtual 3D space. Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience.
