Artist's Description
Formal title: "The Last Warm Wind of Autumn"
Licensing: https://licensing.pixels.com/featured/appaloosa-horse-in-autumn-daniel-eskridge.html
An appaloosa coated wild horse stands in tall golden grass on an autumn day. The wind blows through this wilderness picking up the mustang's unusually auburn colored mane and tail. In the background a forest of trees sports the red and yellow leaves of fall.
From the Artist: I created this image in mid-September of 2023. I was really in a mood to create a fall themed image, but the weather where I was in the Atlanta area was still hot. So, I looked forward to that time in autumn right as that heat breaks and starts to get chilly. This image was meant to depict that last wind of a lingering summer. I did something a bit unusual with the horse in that I gave the horse a long, light brown mane not typical of an Appaloosa, but I wanted to echo the fall color themed of the rest of the scene.
Thanks for looking,
Dan...
