A bodacious Bard leans against the wall of one of Sarpay's inner towers. His face is plastered with a "did I do that?" grin as he strums away on a new ballad, one he has just recently composed. War is just as much an excuse for new music as peace. After all, "There's Nothing More Romantic than a Siege."
"Romance is a wonderful thing,
When flowers are bloomed in the heart of the spring.
But courting is better by leaps and by bounds,
When it takes place in a besieged castle's grounds...

About Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
