Out of the mists of time comes megaloceros giganteus, commonly called the Irish Elk. He stands in deep grass on a foggy hillside. His huge antlers span over half the width of the image as he looks out of the past right at you.

About Daniel Eskridge

Daniel Eskridge

Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
