Description

So, I went to the grocery store on a day in mid August. The store was already featuring Halloween decoration in their seasonal areas and at the front of the store. I figured that if they could get into Halloween mode two months in advance, so could I.

Here is an artwork depicting a special cafe. The Autumn Blend Cafe is a conceptual coffee house that is themed specifically for the fall season. It serves a seasonal blend of coffee, and pumpkin themed food fills its menus. Autumn trees are reflected in its windows while red, yellow, and orange leaves litter the sidewalk - a few of which are picked up by a chilly gust of wind. On a table, in front of the window, a black cat sits next to a pumpkin, a carafe, and several steaming mugs of the place's signature brew. The cat is the mascot of the cafe, and, of course, his name is Autumn Blend.

I constructed this scene last fall for my artwork "Welcome to the Autumn Blend Cafe" ( http://daniel-eskridge.artistwebsites.com/featured/welcome-to-the-autumn-blend-cafe-daniel-eskridge.html ). I had intended to do more images featuring my cafe at the time, but the glass in the windows which is both reflective and transparent makes for some really slow renders and I had too many other things going on; however, over the year, I've found a bit of time to work with it. As a result I have a few images featuring this coffee house ready to publish for the season.
